Clark’s VEX Club is a great introduction to the world of competitive robotics. Students compete in games by designing, building, and wiring simple robots made out of standardized VEX parts. VEX Club is a great opportunity for students hoping to move on to Clark’s FRC team or students who wish to work with robotics, but aren’t able to commit to the more arduous FRC option.
Students working with VEX robots learn the basics of torque, gear rations, electric motors, sensors (potentiometers , light sensors, etc.), and programming.
